The foothills

I have meandered along many an interesting sidetrack or two in the last week. Checking out random blogs on the net, to see whether this blogging is really interesting or just navel gazing. And of course it is both and more. After reading some other ERL blogs questioning the point of new technology, new options, I acknowledge I have similar questions. The point is to ask why we are using it. A Brazilian businessman, Ricardo Semmler has had some challenging thoughts about how we organise ourselves, and whether we think deeply about what we are doing and the tools we use. Very simply he suggests in The seven day weekend, that we ask "why, why, why". His first book was Maverick! Both are excellent reads.
